Itinerary
- Day 1
Muscat
You'll land at Muscat airport and get transferred to your hotel. From there, your day is open so you can either take it easy or wander around at your own pace. Muscat sits right along the coast and has about 2,000 years of history woven throughout the city, so there's plenty to see if you feel like exploring.

- Day 2
Nakhl - Wadi Bani Auf - Hail Al Shas
This morning you're heading to Seeb fishing village, then on to Nakhl Fort to walk around. After that, there's a short walk through the village to check out the hot springs. The main event is an off-road drive through Wadi Bani Auf where you'll see mountain views the whole way, passing through the oasis village of Bilad Sayt before reaching your mountain hotel in Hail Al Shas. The drive covers roughly 350 km.

- Day 3
Misfah - Wadi Nakher - Jebel Shams - Bahla Fort - Jabrin Palace - Nizwa
You'll start in Al Hamra looking at traditional mud houses and date plantations, then drive to Misfah mountain village. Next comes Wadi Nakher, which people call Oman's Grand Canyon, and from there you're heading toward Jebel Shams at nearly 3,000m for views from the highest peak around. The afternoon takes you through Wadi Ghul village, then to Bahla Fort and Jabrin Palace with its detailed architecture and decorated interiors. About 250 km total for the day.

- Day 4
Jebel Akhdar
Your morning is at Nizwa's Friday livestock market where goats, sheep, and cattle trade hands under date palms, followed by the walled souq known for silver work and curved daggers. After that you're driving to Birkat Al Mauz to see how the traditional falaj irrigation system works in the date groves, then continuing to Wadi Al Madeen. The afternoon involves a winding 36 km road up to Jebel Akhdar at 2,000m, famous for orchards and rose gardens on terraced hillsides with optional short walks through mountain villages and rose gardens if you want them. Around 300 km for the drive.

Wadi Bani Khalid - Wahiba Sands Desert
You'll drive through Sinaw with its traditional market and head to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most striking wadis in Oman where you can swim in natural pools. Then it's on to Wahiba Sands desert to spend time with a Bedouin family and experience the dunes before the evening. The desert has vegetation and wildlife like wildcats, wolves, and foxes because of how close it is to the sea, and the starry sky at night is something else. The route covers about 320 km.

- Day 6
Sur - Bimah Sinkhole - Muscat
You're leaving the desert this morning and driving to Sur, a white harbor town where you can visit a traditional dhow shipyard to see wooden boats being handmade by hand. From there you follow the coast past Bibi Miriam's grave to the Bimah Sinkhole, a limestone crater that's quite a sight. On the way back you pass through Wadi Arbayeen with natural pools and the village of Mazara before arriving in Muscat around 5pm. You'll then transfer to the airport or a separately arranged connecting hotel. The drive is around 310 km.
