Itinerary
- Day 1
Cartagena to Barlovento
A driver meets you at your Cartagena hotel and takes you on a 232 km transfer to Hotel Senda Maloka Barlovento, which sits near Tayrona National Park. The drive covers quite a bit of distance, so you'll want to settle in once you arrive and get ready for the hiking ahead.
Landmarks/POIs Tayrona National Park - Day 2
Tayrona National Park
After breakfast, you'll head to the El Zaino entrance and start hiking through Tayrona National Park. The route takes you through Cañaveral Beach first, then into tropical forest toward Arrecife Beach. You'll continue past Arenillas Beach, La Piscina, and finish at Cabo San Juan Beach, where there's time to swim and rest. A restaurant on-site offers lunch if you want to grab something (optional).

Barlovento to Palomino
Following breakfast, you'll drive along the Caribbean coast to Palomino and check into Aité Eco Resort. The rest of your day is free, so you can relax on the sandy beach and soak in the Caribbean vibe at your own pace.

Palomino
These are your leisure days at Aité Eco Resort. You can stay put and unwind, or the resort has several optional activities you can book on-site, such as visiting local tribes, hiking to waterfalls, bird watching at nature reserves, or touring a cocoa farm.

- Cultural exchange visit to Tungueka or Katanzama tribe community
- Hike to La Danta waterfall (low to medium difficulty)
- Visit to Santuario de Fauna y Flora nature reserve for bird watching and exploring beaches and salt marshes
- Day trip with hike to cocoa farm and nearby waterfall

Palomino to Cartagena
After breakfast, you'll make the 300 km journey back to Cartagena, heading either to the airport or to your separately booked city hotel. This marks the end of your tour.
