Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral and Bogotá City Tour
After breakfast, you'll head out to Zipaquirá for a half-day visit to the underground salt cathedral, where you can see impressive stone crosses and illuminated salt crystals carved into the rock. Later you'll return to Bogotá and spend the afternoon exploring the colonial La Candelaria district, then check out the Gold Museum with over 35,000 pre-Columbian objects.

Monserrate Cable Car and Tatacoa Desert
Start by taking the cable car up Monserrate mountain for panoramic views of the city. Then you'll fly to Neiva and drive through striking landscapes to reach the colorful Tatacoa Desert with its red, ochre and gray hues. You'll tour the desert and settle into your hotel for the night.

San Agustín Archaeological Park
Drive south through the Magdalena Valley to San Agustín and explore the UNESCO World Heritage archaeological park. You'll see mysterious excavation sites and walk through an impressive forest of stone statues, one of South America's most important archaeological locations.

Alto de los Ídolos and Magdalena River Narrows
Continue exploring the region's pre-Columbian treasures by visiting Alto de los Ídolos archaeological park with over 300 stone statues and numerous tombs. You'll also see the scenic Magdalena River Narrows in the area.

Popayán Colonial City
Drive across the high Andes through beautiful landscapes to reach Popayán, known as the 'White City' for its colonial architecture. Spend your time exploring the historic center, visiting Casa Museo Valencia and various churches, then check out the Puente del Humilladero bridge.

Silvia and Armenia
Head to Armenia with a stop in Silvia. If you're arriving on Tuesday, you'll visit the colorful market of the Guambiano indigenous community in their traditional dress. If it's Saturday, you'll visit a Guambiano family to see how they live daily. From there, continue to Armenia and settle into Hacienda Combia.

- Day 8
Coffee Plantation and Valle de Cocora
Visit a typical Colombian coffee plantation to learn about cultivation, harvesting, drying, and roasting while having a cup of coffee overlooking rolling hills. Then you'll explore the idyllic village of Salento and head to Valle de Cocora with its towering wax palms reaching up to 60 meters high above the cloud forest.

Arrival in Santa Marta
You'll fly from the coffee zone via Bogotá to Santa Marta, arriving in the afternoon. Transfer to your hotel and get settled in for the next few days.

Leisure Day with Optional Activities
This day is free in Santa Marta. You can optionally explore Tayrona National Park with its hidden beaches in deep bays surrounded by tropical jungle and well-maintained hiking trails, or take an optional city tour if you prefer exploring Santa Marta itself.

Cartagena Colonial Center
