San José
You'll land at San José airport where someone will meet you and drive you to your hotel. Get settled in and rest up for the adventures ahead.

San José to Sarapiquí
After a 2-hour drive, you'll reach Río Sarapiquí for a rafting trip that takes you through roughly 20 rapids. Once the safety briefing wraps up and you finish the tour, you'll grab lunch before heading to your lodge in Sarapiqu í for the night.

Sarapiquí to La Fortuna
The day starts with a horse riding tour at Hacienda Pozo Azul, then you'll take on a canopy tour swinging through the rainforest across 12 sections high above the ground. Later in the afternoon you'll drive to La Fortuna, a small town where you'll stay for two nights.

- Day 4
La Fortuna
Following breakfast, you get picked up for either a mountain bike tour at the volcano's base or a hiking option if you prefer. Your afternoon is open, so you can walk around La Fortuna on your own or explore the area near Arenal volcano at whatever pace you like.

La Fortuna to Guanacaste
After breakfast you'll drive past Lake Arenal, the country's largest reservoir and power source, heading into Guanacaste. The afternoon gives you choices: check out a spa or visit the Red Lagoon, a striking lava formation along the river. You'll stay two nights at Hacienda Guachipelín.

Guanacaste
This day is all adventure. You'll move through a canyon on steel cables stretched between rock faces, cross overhangs, and take in views from small platforms. After that, you can tube downstream if you want. A riding tour and time in the thermal baths wrap up the day.

Guanacaste to San José
