Las Vegas
You'll arrive in Las Vegas and get picked up from the airport for a transfer to your hotel. Once you reach the Golden Nugget Hotel right in the center of the city, settle in for the evening and get ready for the days ahead.

Las Vegas to Death Valley National Park
After meeting your tour guide at the hotel, you'll walk around the Las Vegas Strip to get a feel for the city. Then it's time to head out on about a 2-hour drive (227 km) to Death Valley National Park, arriving in the early afternoon. You'll catch the sunset from Zabrskie Point and check out the Badwater salt flats. Later, spend time stargazing under the Milky Way and take a dip in the hot spring-fed pool at your hotel.

Death Valley National Park to Visalia
You'll eat breakfast and then take your time exploring Death Valley at a slower pace. Stop by Harmony Borax Works, walk around Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, pass through Stovepipe Wells, and check out Mosaic Canyon. From there, you'll head out via Panamint Springs into the mountain and forest areas of Central California, eventually rolling into Visalia as the entry point to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Sequoia National Park to Yosemite National Park
You'll drive from Visalia through Three Rivers and enter the old growth redwood forests of Sequoia National Park. Traveling along the Generals Highway, you'll stop at the General Sherman Tree, King's Canyon Overlook, Lost Grove, and Big Stump Grove. In the afternoon, you'll drive through Fresno and Oakhurst before arriving at Curry Village in Yosemite National Park for the night.

Yosemite National Park
You're waking up surrounded by granite walls in Yosemite Valley. After an early breakfast, you'll spend your day at leisure exploring the valley and taking photos. Take walks around, relax at the backpackers' campsite with views of Yosemite Falls and Half Dome, and later go for a swim in a calm river as the sun sets.

Yosemite to Napa Valley
You'll drive from Yosemite to Napa Valley using Big Oak Flat Road for a different perspective of the landscape. You'll pass through Tuolumne Grove and Groveland on the way. Once you arrive in Napa Valley, you'll visit a winery for a tasting of regional wines, then head back to your hotel to unwind.

- Day 7
Napa Valley
You'll sleep in after several days of travel and have a leisurely breakfast. Spend some time walking through Napa, then board the Wine Trolley at 10 am for a tour of multiple wineries with tastings of the region's best wines. You'll return to the hotel after dinner.

Napa Valley to San Francisco
You'll travel to San Francisco and cross the legendary Golden Gate Bridge with stops on both sides to see Alcatraz Island. Your guide will give you an overview of the city's attractions along the way. In the afternoon, you'll visit Alcatraz Island itself, then either return to the hotel or explore the city on your own.

You'll leave San Francisco and head south along the coast toward Paso Robles, stopping in several charming coastal towns along the way. From there, you'll continue around the bay to Monterey for time in the town center, then finally reach Paso Robles for the night.

Next, you'll stop in Santa Barbara for a short walk in town or on the beach. From there, you'll head via Ventura and Malibu to Pacific Palisades, then through Santa Monica before arriving at your Los Angeles hotel after passing through Beverly Hills.

Catalina Island
You'll start early with arrival at Long Beach at 7:30 am, then take about a 1-hour boat ride to Catalina Island. Once in Avalon, you'll have breakfast with the group and explore as you like. Optional activities include zip-line tours, jeep tours, glass-bottom boat rides, spa treatments, or visiting botanical gardens. You'll need to be back at the pier by 7:30 pm for the return boat.
