Seattle
You'll land in Seattle and have the rest of the day to settle in or wander around the city on your own terms. This evening, dinner with your Travel Director and the group gives you a chance to meet everyone and start planning the days ahead.

- Day 2
Seattle
Start your Seattle exploration at Pike Place Market, where you can walk through nine acres of stalls, shops, and winding alleys at your pace. The Pike Place Fish Market is there if you want to catch the famous fish throwing. Later, head up the Space Needle for views of the city and surrounding mountains from this 605-foot structure that was built for the 1962 World's Fair.

Seattle to Lake Quinault
Take the ferry across Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island with views of the Olympic Mountains. From there, drive to Jardin du Soleil in the Sequim Valley to meet a lavender farmer, learn how they grow and distill lavender, and make your own essential oil. Later you'll reach Lake Quinault Lodge in the rainforest, a historic 1920s property that once hosted President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Lake Quinault to Astoria
You have a relaxed morning at Quinault to walk around, check out local shops, or just enjoy the forest. After that, head south along the coast into Oregon and arrive in Astoria. Walk through the Columbia River Maritime Museum to see one of the country's best maritime artifact collections. The rest of the day is yours to explore Astoria's historic downtown, waterfront, and Victorian homes.

- Day 5
Astoria to Newport
Ride the restored Astoria Riverfront Trolley to learn more about the city, the oldest American settlement west of the Rocky Mountains. Visit the Astoria Column, a tall 1926 monument, and learn about the region's history. Later, head to the coastal town of Newport where you can walk along the beach and take in the ocean views.

Newport to Portland
Drive toward Portland through the Willamette Valley and stop at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum to see military and civilian aircraft, including the massive Hughes H-4 Hercules. After that, head to Kramer Vineyards for a gourmet lunch with Pinot Noir wine. You'll arrive in Portland later for a city sightseeing tour that shows off the area's quirky character.

- Day 7
Portland
Take a day trip from Portland to see Multnomah Falls, Oregon's tallest waterfall at 620 feet, and walk through the Columbia River Gorge. Learn how underground springs feed the falls and about the rock formations. Later, visit TMK Creamery and Distillery where you'll see how they make cheese and ice cream, meet the animals, and learn about their upcycling process. You'll head back to Portland for dinner with your travel companions.
