Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome to Sorrento
You'll depart Rome by coach and head south through the Lazio and Campania regions toward Naples. Once there, a panoramic tour from Vomero hill gives you views across Naples Bay, with Mount Vesuvius and the Sorrento peninsula visible in the distance. After that, you'll visit the Pompeii ruins with skip-the-line access and a guided tour to walk through the ancient streets. From there, it's on to Sorrento for dinner and your first night's stay.

- Day 2
Sorrento
This day is yours to spend however you'd like in Sorrento. You can wander the charming streets and walk through the citrus-scented gardens of this coastal town on the Sorrentine peninsula. If you want, there's an optional excursion to the nearby island of Capri available for an extra cost, or you can simply stay in town and relax. Head back to your hotel later for dinner and another night.

Landmarks Sorrento Capri Island - Day 3
Sorrento to Amalfi
Start with breakfast at your Sorrento hotel, then a private car takes you along the coast to Amalfi. Once you arrive at your new hotel, you'll check in and settle into your room for the next couple of days.

- Day 4
Amalfi
After breakfast at your hotel, the day is completely open. You can explore Amalfi at your own pace, see the city's sites, swim in the Gulf of Salerno, or try some locally-made limoncello. Return to your hotel in the evening to rest.

Landmarks Gulf of Salerno - Day 5
Amalfi to Rome
Have breakfast at your hotel and spend the morning doing any final sightseeing in Amalfi. Around 3:00 p.m., you'll head out toward Pompeii for a stop, then board the deluxe coach for the drive back to Rome. You should arrive around 9:00 p.m., which wraps up your tour.
