- HDHorst· June 10th, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishIf we had known how the trip was run, we absolutely would not have booked it. It was stated in the tour description that we would be picked up at the hotel every morning after breakfast. Unfortunately, this was not true, but we had to walk almost a kilometer over a hill to a bus stop every day (84 and 77 years old) because the road to our hotel was supposed to be too narrow. This is not credible for us, as we experienced the narrower roads the bus could take to other hotels. As we were unable to take part in the normal breakfast due to the long walk, we were unable to enjoy a delicious breakfast. On the very first day, we were supposed to go to the Cave of Zeus. Nobody told us that the cave has been closed since 2024. We only found this out later by researching on the internet. We had been taken to another cave, the Milatos Cave. The city tours could also have been much more informative. The day before our return journey, we were supposed to receive information at the hotel reception about the pick-up time for the journey to the airport. This information was not available, only after calling the Greek tour operator was it possible to find out when we would be picked up the next day.Show more
