Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Beijing
You'll fly into Beijing and connect with your private guide at the airport. From there, a private car takes you to your hotel, and your guide handles the luggage and check-in process so you can settle in without the hassle.



- Day 2
Beijing
Start with Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City to get a sense of Beijing's imperial history. After that, head up to Jingshan Park where you'll get panoramic views across the city. You'll wander through the historic Hutongs, try your hand at Beijing Opera Facial Makeup, and then cap off the evening with Peking Roasted Duck at Quanjude restaurant.

Great Wall and Temple of Heaven
You'll spend the morning at the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, walking through watchtowers and checking out the historic landmarks along this restored stretch. In the afternoon, head to the Temple of Heaven where you'll do Tai Chi instruction with experienced guides at this Ming dynasty site.

- Day 4
Beijing to Zhangjiajie
This morning you'll explore the Summer Palace UNESCO site, seeing the Hall of Benevolence and Longevity, the Long Corridor, and the marble boat. Next you'll visit Yonghe Temple to see its mix of Tibetan and Han architecture. After that, you have free time before heading to the airport to fly to Zhangjiajie, where your new guide meets you and transfers you to your hotel.

- Day 5
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
You'll start at Wulingyuan Scenic Area and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, then take a cable car up Tianzi Mountain to see the dramatic rock formations. Grab lunch in the mountain area (both Chinese-style and McDonald's options available). In the afternoon, you'll visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area and head back down either by cable car or the Bailong Elevator, which is the world's highest glass elevator.

- Day 6
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon
Head to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and walk the world's longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge, which sits 300 meters above the ground (though an alternative route is available if you'd rather skip it). Later, drive to Baofeng Lake, walk about 20 minutes to reach it, then take a 30-minute wooden boat ride where local minority performers entertain you.
