Zurich to Basel
You'll meet at Zurich airport and get transferred to your Star-Ship in Basel. After settling into your cabin, the captain and crew greet you. Dinner on board this evening gives you a chance to meet your fellow travelers and get comfortable before the journey starts.

- Day 2
Ravenna Viaduct
The ship docks at Breisach, the gateway to Germany's Black Forest. You'll take a scenic drive through the highlands to Hofgut Sternen, a spot Marie Antoinette visited back in 1770. Then it's time to walk through the Christmas market under the 40-metre-high Ravenna Viaduct, where local vendors sell Black Forest specialties and handcrafted regional products.

Kehl to Strasbourg
After docking in Kehl, a coach takes you across the river to Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace. The medieval Grande Île has half-timbered buildings, old tanning houses, and charming canals to wander around. You'll have time to browse the Christmas market and pick up traditional German Christmas treats and festive gifts.

- Day 4
Heidelberg
In Heidelberg, a guided tour takes you through Heidelberg Castle, which sits above the Rhine and overlooks the city's red-roofed skyline. The castle inspired many Romantic era painters, including William Turner. Later, you'll stroll down the cobbled Old Town streets, stopping at the Church of the Holy Spirit and Germany's oldest university.

Koblenz
You'll head into Koblenz, an old fairy-tale city surrounded by vineyards and snow-topped mountains. A local guide leads you through open cobbled squares and narrow streets. The highlight is seeing where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet at the German Corner, plus panoramic views from Ehrenbreitstein Fortress.

Cologne
Cologne transforms into a winter wonderland with seven Christmas markets spread throughout. After a guided tour of the Old Town, you'll have time to browse markets at your own pace, including ornate stalls right beneath the UNESCO-listed Cologne Cathedral. Grab some traditional glühwein from beautifully decorated mugs and soak in the festive atmosphere.

Throughout the city, Christmas stalls are set up where visitors in festive knitwear enjoy hot mulled wine and traditional holiday foods. The whole scene creates a really magical holiday feel.

Amsterdam to Airport
