Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tel Aviv
You'll land at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv whenever your flight arrives. A representative will meet you at the terminal and drive you to your hotel in Jerusalem for the night.
- Day 2
Bethlehem
Start at the Israel Museum with the Shrine of the Book, where you'll see the Dead Sea scrolls and a detailed model of Jerusalem during the Herodian period. Then head to Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial. After that, you'll drive to Ein Karem, the village traditionally connected to John the Baptist's birth, then continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and walk through Manger Square before heading back to Jerusalem.

Mount of Olives
This morning you'll enter the Old City to see the Western Wall and Temple Mount. Walk the Via Dolorosa down to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which marks the traditional sites of the Crucifixion and Resurrection. Later, go up to Mount Zion to see King David's tomb and the Room of the Last Supper. In the afternoon, head to the Mount of Olives for views across Jerusalem, then walk through the Garden of Gethsemane. By evening, you'll wind down at Mahane Yehuda, the large open-air market in downtown Jerusalem.

Jerusalem to Tiberias
Leave Jerusalem and drive north through Jericho, the world's oldest city, and into the Jordan Valley. You'll pass through new settlements and stop at Beit Shean to see the well-preserved Roman excavations. Next, head up to the Golan Heights for a wine tour with tastings and an explanation of how local wines are made. Drive through Golan villages with Druze communities and old Syrian fortifications, catching views of Mount Hermon along the way. By evening, you'll descend into the Hula Valley and arrive in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee.

Nazareth
Along the Sea of Galilee, you'll visit Capernaum to see ancient synagogue remains, the Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount was traditionally given, and Tabgha, traditionally connected to the miracle of the loaves and fish. There's an optional sailing trip across the Sea of Galilee if you're interested. After that, continue to Nazareth to see the Church of the Annunciation and other Christian sites, then return to Tiberias for overnight.

Galilee to Tel Aviv
After breakfast, drive west through the Galilee hills to Acre and explore the old Crusader fortress with its medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa, where you'll climb Mount Carmel for views over the city and Haifa Bay, including the Baha'i Shrine and its Persian Garden. From there, head south along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea to walk through the Roman Theater and see the Crusader fortress built by Herod the Great. End the day with a tour of Tel Aviv and a stop at the ancient port area of Jaffa before your overnight.

You have the day free in Tel Aviv to do what you'd like. If you want something organized, there's an optional guided tour to Masada and the Dead Sea available.
