Itinerary
- Day 1
Lima Arrival
Your private vehicle picks you up and drives about an hour to Miraflores, the coastal district where you'll be based. Once you arrive at your hotel, the rest of the day and evening are yours to settle in and explore at your own pace. You'll spend the night in Lima.

- Day 2
Lima to Arequipa
You'll walk through Lima's historic center starting at Plaza San Martín, then head down the pedestrian Jirón de la Unión street. From there, check out the Church of La Merced built back in 1535, and continue to Plaza de Armas where you'll see the Cathedral and government buildings. After that, tour the San Francisco convent catacombs. Later you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Arequipa, then get driven to your hotel. The evening is free. You'll stay overnight in Arequipa.

- Day 3
Arequipa
This morning you'll explore Arequipa's white city starting at Plaza de Armas with its arcaded buildings made from sillar, a local lava tuff. You'll visit the Cathedral, which was damaged during the 2001 earthquake, then walk through the Compañía cloister, a Jesuit church from 1739. After that, see the colorful Santa Catalina convent, a 16th-century religious community that's basically its own village. The afternoon and evening are yours to relax. You'll stay in Arequipa again.

Arequipa to Colca Canyon
You'll travel through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca nature reserve at about 4,300 meters/14,100 feet, stopping to watch llama herds and see what the protected area has to offer. Then you'll cross the Patapampa pass at over 4,900 meters/16,070 feet before heading into Colca Valley. Once you reach Chivay, grab some lunch and then visit one of the local hot springs like Chacapi, Umaru, or La Calera to soak and relax. You'll have the evening free and stay overnight in Colca Canyon.

- Day 5
Colca Canyon to Puno
Start early at the Cruz del Condor viewpoint to catch views of the canyon and watch condors flying through their natural habitat. From there, you'll descend the left side of the canyon, passing Antahuilque and Choquetico viewpoints where you can see pre-Inca cemetery remains and suspended graves. Next, walk through traditional villages like Maca, Achoma, and Yanque, each with baroque colonial churches. You'll have lunch in Chivay before a 6-hour private bus ride to Puno with some stops along the way. The evening is free once you arrive. You'll stay overnight in Puno.

Lake Titicaca
You'll spend the day on Lake Titicaca starting with a visit to Titinos Island, which is actually made from woven aquatic plants and reinforced with totora reeds. Then you'll boat to Taquile Island to see its green hills and blue waters, and learn about the local customs and textile traditions they're known for. After lunch, head back to Puno by boat, then your driver takes you to the hotel about 10 minutes away. The evening is yours to do as you please. You're staying in Puno again.

Puno to Sicuani
You'll travel through Cabanilla and Lampa heading toward Tinajani Canyon, where you can see over 200 hectares of rock formations that formed over a million years ago. Continue to Ayaviri for lunch. Later, visit Kanamarca, a pre-Inca K'ana culture site sitting at 3,950 meters/12,950 feet that tells you a lot about the region's history and importance. You'll head toward Sicuani for dinner and stay overnight there.

Sicuani to Sacred Valley
This morning you'll hike up Palccoyo colorful mountain, which has fewer tourists than Vinicunca but sits in the same valley with those mineral layers creating amazing colors. You'll also see a stone forest along the way. After that, stop at Checacupe village to check out its 17th-century colonial church (recently renovated), a restored colonial bridge, and the Inca bridge made of braided ropes. Then you'll travel to the Sacred Valley for dinner and stay overnight.

- Day 9
Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
You'll start at Moray, an archaeological site with those distinctive concentric circular terraces, then head to the Maras Salt Flats for a completely different landscape in the valley. Grab lunch in Urubamba, and after that visit Ollantaytambo Fortress, the last major Inca stronghold where their geographic position let them hold out against Spanish forces. Later you'll board a train to Aguas Calientes (about 1 hour 40 minutes). The evening is free. You're staying overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Machu Picchu
Early on you'll take the bus up to Machu Picchu, the Inca citadel rediscovered in 1911. You'll have time to walk around this iconic site and see what made it so significant to Inca civilization. Then you'll head back down to Aguas Calientes by bus (about 20 minutes). After lunch, board the train back to Ollantaytambo (around 1 hour 40 minutes), then drive to Cusco by bus. Your Spanish-speaking driver will take you to the hotel, a 15-minute ride. The evening is free. You'll stay overnight in Cusco.

Cusco
You'll explore Cusco starting with Plaza de Armas, then wander through streets that mix Inca and Spanish architecture. You'll see the Twelve-Angle Stone, an Inca structure with perfectly fitted interlocking rocks. Visit the pre-Columbian art museum to see pieces from 1250 BC to 1532, then tour the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) and the Santo Domingo Monastery foundations. Later, spend time at the busy San Pedro central market checking out fruits, vegetables, spices, and flowers. The afternoon is free. In the evening, you'll meet at the Pisco Museum to learn how to make Pisco Sour (Peru's national cocktail, with non-alcoholic options available). You'll stay overnight in Cusco.

Cusco to Lima (Departure)
Your guide meets you at the hotel and takes you to Cusco airport to help with your boarding. You'll fly back to Lima (about 1 hour 15 minutes) with views of the snow-covered Andes Cordillera along the way. That marks the end of your tour.
