You'll leave Hanoi early in the morning and drive along Vietnam's longest highway, heading through the Red River Delta and into the midland areas toward Bac Ha District. The scenery changes as you climb higher into the mountains. Around lunchtime, you'll stop in Bao Nhai before continuing uphill to Bac Ha town itself.
