Itinerary
- Day 1
Bergen
You'll arrive at Bergen airport and a private driver will meet you for the drive into town (plan on about an hour with baggage). The rest of the day is yours to wander around Bergen at your own pace. Walk through neighborhoods, check out shops, and find a restaurant for dinner whenever you're ready. You'll stay overnight in Bergen.

- Day 2
Bergen
Take the Fløibanen Funicular up Mount Fløyen for views across Bergen and the surrounding coast. From the top you can hike around or try other outdoor activities if that interests you. Later head down and explore Bryggen, the old preserved buildings that are UNESCO-listed. You can wander the fish and flower markets, pop into museums, or just walk through the colorful streets. Stay another night in Bergen.

Bergen to Oslo
Start early at Bergen Station to catch the Norway in a Nutshell route. First comes a train ride to Voss, then a bus that climbs 13 hairpin bends up Stalheimskleiva (one of Northern Europe's steepest roads). After that you'll board a boat heading through the Aurlandsfjord and into the Nærdøyfjord, a UNESCO site where you'll see waterfalls and mountain farms along the water. You'll have a couple hours to look around Flam, then take the famous Flåm Railway as it winds through mountains and past small villages all the way to Oslo. Overnight in Oslo.

Oslo
A local guide will lead you through Oslo's main attractions on foot. You'll see the Royal Palace, walk down Karl Johans gate where locals shop and grab coffee, explore Akershus Fortress, and check out Oslo City Hall where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony happens. In the afternoon head to the National Gallery to see Norwegian and European art, then walk along the Akerselva river to the Grünerlokka neighborhood. The Mathalen food hall there has over 30 different shops and restaurants, so you can grab lunch or browse around. Sleep in Oslo again.

Your trip wraps up today. A private car will pick you up from your hotel about 3 hours before your flight and take you to Oslo airport.
