- Day 1
Siem Reap
You'll be transferred to Shinta Mani Angkor in Siem Reap's French Quarter and get settled in. This afternoon, head to Ta Prohm temple, the site you've probably seen in the Tomb Raider films with those massive tree roots. Then you'll visit a local charity that works with disadvantaged children to learn about the community. Dinner features Khmer dishes followed by an apsara dance performance at your hotel (75°F/24°C).

Siem Reap
Wake early and head out to catch sunrise at Angkor Wat with an insider experience and refreshments included. After returning, you'll have breakfast, then the early afternoon is free for independent exploring or optional activities around Siem Reap. Later on you'll visit Bayon Temple and Angkor Thom. For evening entertainment, there's a Phare Circus performance available or other options.

Siem Reap to Kampong Cham
Travel by road through the countryside and remote villages to reach Kampong Cham. You'll board RV Lotus, your boutique river ship for the next seven nights. In the afternoon, a tuk tuk takes you through Koh Pen's shaded lanes to see the agricultural island and its stilted houses. The welcome dinner on board this evening brings you together with your fellow travelers.

- Day 4
Mekong River
Start your morning with a walking tour of Angkor Ban, known as the 'Lucky Village' that survived the Khmer Rouge period. You'll explore century-old wooden houses before heading back to the ship. As you continue cruising the Mekong's banks toward Oknha Tey (Silk Island), you'll disembark to see the village's traditional silk weaving workshops and meet local artisans.

- Day 5
Oudong to Phnom Penh
Travel by road to Oudong, Cambodia's former royal capital, for a Buddhist blessing ceremony with resident monks. Afterward, you'll drive through Koh Chen village and stop to watch artisans working in open-air copperware workshops. By afternoon you'll arrive in Phnom Penh with free time, or you can join optional cooking workshops, cyclo tours, or tuk tuk city explorations.

Phnom Penh
This is a somber but important morning visiting the Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to learn about the Khmer Rouge era and pay respects at the Memorial Stupa. After lunch, explore the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, which features 5,000 silver tiles and striking Khmer architecture throughout. Your afternoon is free to browse Russian Market or Central Market, or relax back on the ship.

Phnom Penh to Tan Chau
Spend the day on board as your ship cruises toward the Vietnamese border. You'll enjoy onboard presentations and demonstrations while border formalities get processed. Once you cross into Vietnam, you'll arrive at the riverside town of Tan Chau and settle in for the evening.

Tan Chau
Travel by small boat through tributaries around Tan Chau, then explore on foot and by rickshaw through rambling laneways past local shops. You'll visit a rattan weaving workshop to see traditional crafts. Later, step back in time on Vinh Hoa (Evergreen Island) and observe traditional Vietnamese farming practices. You'll return to the ship and continue cruising toward Sa Dec.

Visit the home of Mr Huynh Thuy Le, who inspired Marguerite Duras' novel 'The Lover'. Lunch is on board while cruising to Cai Be, where you'll see the French gothic church and a rice paper and coconut candy factory. Your farewell dinner is on board as you cruise toward My Tho.

My Tho to Ho Chi Minh City
Disembark at My Tho and travel by road to the Cu Chi tunnels to learn about Vietnam War history and explore the underground network hand-carved by soldiers. Then continue to Ho Chi Minh City, a bustling metropolis formerly known as Saigon. You'll stay at Le Méridien Saigon for two nights. For dinner, choose from street food tours by motorbike, Hoi An cuisine, or Propaganda Vietnamese Bistro.
