Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tokyo
You'll arrive in Japan and clear customs, then take a shared shuttle bus to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in and rest up. Later in the afternoon, you'll get a briefing about what's coming on tomorrow's tour.
- Day 2
Tokyo
Join a guided tour through Tokyo covering about five hours. You'll see Zojoji Temple with Tokyo Tower views, walk through the famous Shibuya Crossing, and check out Meiji Shrine. After that, you'll stroll down Omotesando Avenue, pass the Imperial Palace and Nijubashi Bridge, then head through Akihabara's Electric Town. Lunch is included before you finish at Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Street in Asakusa. By 6:30 p.m., you'll head to Shinjuku to wander the nightlife district and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Tokyo to Kyoto
Board the bullet train early in the morning heading to Kyoto, nearly 500 km away, and you'll arrive in just over two hours. Once there, you'll spend the day exploring Japan's former capital. You'll visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Kinkakuji Temple with its golden exterior and surrounding gardens. Then you'll walk through Gion, Kyoto's traditional district known for its geisha culture. After that, you have free time to explore on your own at whatever pace you like.

Kyoto to Osaka
Travel to Nara and visit Todaiji Temple, built in 752 and home to a massive Buddha statue. Spend time taking photos and interacting with the friendly deer in the park around the temple. After lunch, you'll head to Horyu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with one of the world's oldest wooden structures and Japan's oldest Buddhist temple. Later you'll continue to Osaka for the evening and then explore Dotonbori's lively atmosphere.

Osaka to Okayama
Head to Himeji to explore its enormous castle complex and see Japanese castle architecture up close. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll travel to Okayama and visit Korakuen, featuring lakes, waterfalls, and traditional teahouses. From there, cross a pedestrian bridge to visit Okayama Castle, a sixteenth-century fortress that was rebuilt in 1966. You'll have free time at the end to wander around this vibrant provincial city on your own.

Okayama to Hiroshima
Travel to Kurashiki and take a leisurely walk through its well-preserved historic center. Then continue to Hiroshima and see the Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and the Peace Memorial Museum. After that, you'll take a ferry to Miyajima Island to visit Itsukushima Shrine, which is partially built over the water and dedicated to the guardian of the seas. You'll explore the town center and have lunch there. Later, head back to your hotel in Hiroshima for dinner.
