Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive at Ho Chi Minh City's international airport and get transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, the day is open for you to explore on your own. The streets of Saigon have a lot going on, so you might walk around and take in the atmosphere, check out some museums if you're interested in Vietnam's history, try some street food, or just soak in the energy and architecture of the city.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City
A local English-speaking guide takes you through Ho Chi Minh City starting with the Reunification Palace and its War Room. From there, you'll see Notre Dame Cathedral, then head to the Saigon Central Post Office to check out the French colonial architecture up close. Ben Thanh Market comes next with all its activity and vendors. By evening, you'll make your way to Pho Tay, the backpacker district, where you can try Vietnam's famous street food and relax at a corner café.

Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi and Return
An early start takes you on a day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an important Vietnam War site. On the way there, you'll stop by a local family's rice paper production to see how it's made. Once at the tunnels, there's an introductory video, then you explore the underground network the Viet Cong used, seeing mantraps, an American tank, and bomb craters. If you're interested, there's a shooting range where you can try some war-era guns for an extra fee. You'll return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

- Day 4
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta to Can Tho
After breakfast, you'll head early to the Mekong Delta. Once there, you board a traditional Sampan boat to cruise the calm waterways and see how locals work cottage industries. You'll stop to watch brick-making and rice paper production, then visit Mr. Sau Khanh's house where there's a collection of antiques, ancient ceramics, and sculptures. Later you continue to Can Tho and stay overnight.

Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh City
Following breakfast, you get on a small boat to cruise Can Tho's narrow canals. The Cai Rang floating market is where vendor boats sell various goods, and it's busy with activity. You'll watch how locals go about their daily life along the Mekong canals before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City for the night.

Departure
Your tour ends today. You can make your own way to the airport, or contact the tour operator ahead of time to book a departure transfer if you'd prefer one (there's an additional fee for that service).
