Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll land in Vietnam and connect with your private driver and guide right at the airport. After getting to your hotel and getting settled, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the historic streets at your own pace. There's plenty to see with old architecture and local shops scattered throughout. Head back to the hotel when you're ready to rest up for the days ahead.

- Day 2
Mekong Delta
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive out to My Tho in the Mekong Delta. From there, you'll board a sampan and cruise around four islands named Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. On Unicorn Island, you'll walk through country lanes, check out orchards, and taste tropical fruits while listening to local folk music. You'll also see a honey-bee farm and tour a honey tea workshop. Lunch happens at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, either cycle around Tan Thach village to meet locals and see daily Mekong life, or relax in a hammock if you prefer. You'll head back to Ho Chi Minh City by evening.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An
You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then some free time before your private transfer to the airport. After flying to Da Nang, you'll head to your hotel in Hoi An. Later in the afternoon, take some time to explore Hoi An's old streets on your own. This UNESCO World Heritage site used to be a busy trading port back in the 17th century, and walking around shows that history pretty clearly.

Hoi An Cycling & Lantern Making
You'll meet your guide and get a bicycle for a cycling tour through rice paddies and shrimp farms. Head out to Tra Que vegetable village where you'll actually participate in traditional farming, which means digging, sowing, planting, and harvesting vegetables using old tools that have been around for centuries. You'll get to taste E Water, a local specialty made from vegetables. After cycling through rice fields and villages, you'll reach a lantern-making workshop where craftsmen teach you to make colorful lanterns that you can take home.

Hoi An (Free Day or Ba Na Hills Optional Tour)
The day is mostly yours to spend in Hoi An however you like. If you want to do something organized, there's an optional Ba Na Hills tour that includes cable car rides on Southeast Asia's most modern system, visiting the Golden Bridge and French Village, plus Le Jardin D'amour gardens, temples, and Fantasy Park with different rides. A buffet lunch is included if you go. You'll be back at the hotel by late afternoon.

Hoi An to Hanoi
You'll spend your last morning in Hoi An before your private driver picks you up and takes you to Da Nang airport. After flying to Hanoi, your driver meets you and transfers you to your place in the city center. The rest of the day is free for you to explore and get familiar with Hanoi on your own terms.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
After checking out, you'll meet the cruise and travel across the Red River Delta, seeing emerald rice paddies along the way. You'll arrive at Halong Bay and board a cruise to explore limestone rocks and karst grottoes. There's a famous limestone cave to visit, and you can go kayaking or swimming to get closer to floating villages and local shops. Seafood lunch happens on board. By evening, you're back on the boat for an early dinner and time to relax or check out what's available on the boat.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
Get up early if you want to join an optional Tai Chi lesson or just have a hearty breakfast instead. The cruise visits a limestone cave with stalagmites and stalactites. Then you'll sail back toward the main harbor and head back to Hanoi, arriving around 5 PM. Your evening is free to do what you like.
