Itinerary
- Day 1
Kosice to Poprad
You'll get picked up from Kosice Airport or the rail station and head to Poprad. Once there, you'll walk through Spiska Sobota, the medieval section of town and one of Slovakia's best-preserved historic areas. The old burgher houses are worth looking at, and the Church of St George has five Gothic altars that are worth seeing. The town square has shops and restaurants if you want to grab lunch or pick up anything you need.

Bear Observation Hike
This is a guided day trip focused on watching bears in their natural habitat. You'll follow the blue touristic route through Kamensita dolina valley, walking about 14 kilometres total with pretty gentle slopes (around 550 metres elevation gain, topping out at 1500m). Along the way you'll stop at stations where guides explain bear behavior and how bears and humans interact. Later you'll head into avalanche chutes where an expert guide helps you spot bears from a safe distance.

Biele and Zelené Pleso
Starting from Tatranska Lomnica, you'll do a moderate hike in the High Tatras heading toward Biele and Zelene pleso, two mountain lakes. The hike covers about 12.1 km and takes roughly 7 hours, with 826 metres of elevation gain and only 130 metres coming back down. You'll reach a high point of 1,620 metres. Bring water and snacks as it's a full day out on the trail.

Strbske Pleso to Popradske Pleso and Departure
Your last morning has an easy guided hike in the High Tatras from Strbske Pleso to Popradske Pleso. The route's about 10.6 km and takes around 4.5 hours, with minimal elevation changes (just 260 metres up and down total). After finishing the hike, you'll head to Kosice Airport or into Kosice city centre in the afternoon for your departure.
