Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
You'll be picked up early from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or airport and driven to Wilson Airport for a short transfer. The flight to Masai Mara Keekorok Airstrip takes about an hour, and you'll get nice views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Great Rift Valley cliffs during the flight. Once you land, settle in at your lodge and have breakfast before heading out on a full-day game drive in a shared 4x4 Landcruiser with your guide. You'll return to the lodge around 6 PM for dinner.

- Day 2
Masai Mara
Start by talking with your guide about what you want to see during the day and which areas of the park interest you most. The schedule is flexible, so you can shape the experience based on your preferences. There are optional activities available too if you're interested, like visiting a local Maasai village to learn about the culture or taking a pre-dawn hot air balloon flight over the park to see the reserve wake up. Your guide can help arrange whichever activities appeal to you.

- Day 3
Masai Mara
Get up early to catch the golden sunrise over the Masai Mara as wildlife becomes active in the cool morning temperatures. The park is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros) plus over 95 other mammal species. If you're visiting during the Great Migration season from July to October, you might see tens of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles crossing the Mara River from the Serengeti as they search for fresh grass.

Masai Mara to Nairobi
Head out early for one last game drive to revisit your favorite spots in the park and make the most of your remaining safari time. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast to prepare for your journey back. After breakfast, take one final game drive through the park on your way to the airstrip, then fly back to Nairobi with an afternoon arrival. You can arrange either a drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport, depending on what works for you.
