Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Chitwan
You'll start the day with a hotel pickup in Kathmandu and settle in for a 5-hour drive to Chitwan. Once you arrive at your lodge, there's time to check in and get briefed on what's ahead. After lunch, you'll head to a Tharu village where local guides share how people live and work in the region. From there, stop by the National Park Visitor's Center to learn more about the area. The evening brings either a Tharu cultural dance performance or a presentation about Chitwan's wildlife and history before dinner.

- Day 2
Chitwan
An early start with tea at 6 am and breakfast at 6:30 am gets the day rolling. You'll head out for bird watching and canoe rides on the Rapti River, looking for Marsh Mugger and Gharial crocodiles. Next comes a walk through the jungle to spot whatever wildlife is active. Lunch breaks up the morning, and then it's a jeep safari in the afternoon searching for deer, rhinos, boars, monkeys, and leopards (Bengal tigers are possible but not guaranteed). Later, the Tharu Cultural Museum gives context to what you've seen, and dinner wraps up the day.

After breakfast and some free time at the lodge, you'll depart at 9 am for the 5-hour drive back to Kathmandu. You'll be dropped off at your hotel once you arrive.
