Stockholm
You'll arrive in Stockholm and head to your hotel to check in. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to explore the capital at your own pace. Wander through Gamla Stan's medieval cobblestone streets, where you can walk past colorful buildings and historic shops. The Royal Palace is worth seeing, and City Hall offers great views from its tower. You'll get a real feel for Stockholm's old heart just by walking around.

Stockholm to Helsinki (Cruise)
Have breakfast at your hotel, then make your way to the pier to board the Tallink Silja. The ship sets sail at 4:45 pm heading to Helsinki. This evening you'll celebrate New Year's Eve onboard with a gala dinner and drinks. There's tax-free shopping, casino games, and international entertainment throughout the night, so you've got plenty to do while crossing the Baltic.

Welcome the New Year in Helsinki! After breakfast, you'll disembark and head to your hotel. Spend the day exploring Finland's capital on your own. Check out Senaatintori square with its white cathedral, then walk through Kauppatori market for some local food and crafts. Tuomiokirko cathedral is striking, and Temppeliaukiokirkko is fascinating because it's carved right into the rock. The Neo-Byzantine Orthodox Cathedral over on Katajanokka island is also worth the trip across.
