Itinerary
- Day 1
Hotel to Masai Mara
Your safari kicks off with a hotel pickup at 8:00 am. The drive takes you to the Rift Valley viewpoint where you'll take in the views before heading down the escarpment through Narok town. Once you reach Masai Mara, lunch waits at the camp. After eating, you'll head out on your first afternoon game drive where you might spot the black-maned lions and learn about the wildebeest migration that moves between Tanzania's Serengeti and this region.

Masai Mara
Start with an early breakfast before spending your day game viewing across Masai Mara Game Reserve, which has a high concentration of wildlife throughout. You'll have a picnic lunch at Mara River. In the afternoon, there's an option to visit a local Masai village where you can watch traditional dancing and singing, see their homestead, and photograph the warriors and daily life if that interests you.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, you'll leave Masai Mara and drive toward Lake Nakuru with lunch served along the way. From the road, you'll see Mount Longonot in the distance. There's an optional stop available at Lake Naivasha if you want to check it out. You'll arrive in Nakuru by evening, have dinner, and stay overnight there.

Lake Naivasha
An early breakfast gets you ready for a morning exploring Lake Nakuru National Park, which is home to over 350 bird species like flamingoes, storks, and pelicans, along with white and black rhinos, giraffes, lions, zebras, and antelope. The park's fairly compact, so you'll see quite a bit in about 4 hours. After lunch on the way to Naivasha, the afternoon is free time with an optional visit to local floral farms if you're interested.

Nairobi
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Hell's Gate for a game drive unlike others, since it's the only park where you can walk around without predators present. You can either take a traditional safari vehicle through or hire a bicycle to cycle 11 km down to the gorge where a guide will explain the rock formations. Late afternoon, you'll head back to the gate and drive toward Nairobi with lunch en route, arriving at your hotel by 3:00 pm for drop-off or an airport transfer if you're leaving.
