Zanzibar
You'll arrive at Zanzibar Airport and get transferred to your resort. After settling in, the beach is right there waiting for you. Grab a drink at the Jetty Bar, take a swim in either the Indian Ocean or the pool, or if you're feeling adventurous, you can arrange optional excursions to explore more of the island.

Zanzibar to Selous
After an early breakfast, you'll head to the airstrip for a bush plane flight to Selous. Once you land, your experienced guide takes you out for a full-day game drive through Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park). You'll have chances to spot wildlife, and the area has over 350 bird and reptile species to look for. You'll stay overnight at Africa Safari Selous.

Selous
Following breakfast, your guide leads you on a bush walk where you'll learn about the natural surroundings and how the ecosystem works. In the afternoon, you'll switch things up with a boat safari on the Rufiji River, which gives you a different vantage point for spotting wildlife. You'll spend another night at Africa Safari Selous.

Selous
You're back out for another full-day game drive through Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park). This time you'll explore different areas and natural environments with your guide. You'll return to Africa Safari Selous for the night.

Selous to Zanzibar
After breakfast, the bush plane takes you back from Selous to Zanzibar. From the airport, you'll transfer to your beachfront resort. You've got four days ahead to relax by the ocean, or you can book optional excursions if you want to check out more of the tropical island.

Zanzibar Departure
Your beach and safari holiday wraps up today. You'll transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your return flight, heading home with memories from your time between the beaches and the wildlife of Selous.
