You'll arrive in Oslo and check in at your hotel. This evening, meet your tour director and fellow travelers at a welcome dinner to kick things off.

Oslo
A guided tour takes you through Frogner Park, where over 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland are on display along with fountains and bridges. After that, you'll see Oslo City Hall with its distinctive red-brick design and 49 bells, the site of the annual Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

Oslo to Gol
You'll drive through the scenic Hallingdal region, covering about 193 miles (311 km). By late afternoon, you arrive in Gol, a small town in the Hallingdal Valley between Oslo and Bergen. The rest of the day is free to wander around town and get a feel for the area.

- Day 4
Gol to Flam
Board the Flåm scenic train, one of the world's steepest standard-gauge railway lines. The route takes you past deep ravines, waterfalls, and snow-capped mountains. You'll stop at Kjosfossen waterfall for photos and to take in the views.

- Day 5
Flam to Bergen
Travel about 104 miles (167 km) to Bergen. Along the way, you get an orientation drive that shows off Bryggen, the old Hanseatic wharf with its colorful wooden buildings, plus the harbor and Fish Market on Norway's southwestern coast.

Bergen

Bergen to Tromso
Fly from Bergen to Tromsø in the Arctic. Once you land, take an orientation walk around town. You'll see the Arctic Cathedral, a modern church with 11 lamella panels and special lighting that creates interesting effects during the winter darkness.

Tromso
