Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You'll arrive in Tanzania and head straight to Arusha Town for any last-minute shopping before driving to Tarangire National Park. This is where your first game drive happens, and you'll see why the park is famous for its massive elephant herds and baobab trees. The picnic lunch breaks up the morning nicely, and then you'll settle into your lodge for the evening.

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, there's time to head back to Arusha Town if you need anything else, then you drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full game drive. The park has really diverse habitats, and you'll likely spot baboons, tree-climbing lions, and lots of bird species throughout the day. By evening you're back at the lodge for dinner.

Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
You'll leave after breakfast and head toward Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic highlands of Karatu and through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The route down into the Serengeti's plains is something else, and you'll reach the Seronera area by lunchtime. An afternoon game drive follows, then dinner at your tented camp.

Serengeti National Park
This is an early start kind of day. You'll head out before dawn to catch nocturnal animals heading back and lions waking up. From there, you spend the full day game driving through the Serengeti. Depending on when you're traveling, the Great Migration movements mean you could see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, and various antelope species.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Another early morning game drive in the Serengeti, then you head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll stop at Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological site where researchers found important human evolution remains like the skulls known as 'Nutcracker Man' and 'Handy Man'. You reach your lodge in the late afternoon and have dinner there.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After a quick breakfast, you descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife viewing. The crater supports huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and elephants, plus lots of predators like lions, hyenas, and leopards. You'll stop at Lake Magadi to see flamingos and hippos. Late afternoon you either return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay or arrange your airport drop-off.
