Itinerary
- Day 1
Copenhagen
You'll arrive in Copenhagen and make your way to the hotel (self-transfers available, or you can book one ahead for a fee). Meet your tour leader at the hotel reception at 18:00, or if you prefer a later start, you'll connect with the group at 08:00 the following morning.

Aarhus
After breakfast at the hotel, a guided panoramic tour takes you through Copenhagen where you'll see Nyhavn's historic waterfront, Amalienborg Palace, Christianborg Palace, and the Little Mermaid statue. Later in the afternoon, you'll board a ferry from Odden heading toward Aarhus.

Hirtshals
You'll start with breakfast, then join a guided panoramic tour of Aarhus that includes the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral. The rest of your morning and early afternoon are free to walk around on your own. By late afternoon, you're heading north to Hirtshals to board an overnight cruise bound for Norway.

Stavanger
Following breakfast, your tour leader guides you on a walking tour through Stavanger's charming old town. After that, the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Two optional activities are available if you're interested: a 3-hour Lysefjord cruise with waterfall views and Pulpit Rock, or combining the cruise with a Pulpit Rock hike.

Bergen
After breakfast, you'll take a series of ferries from Mortavika to Årssvågen, then from Sandviksværg to Halhjem before reaching Bergen. You'll have free time for lunch, and then a guided panoramic tour shows you the fish market and the UNESCO-listed Hanseatic quarter. The Floibanen funicular ride takes you up Floyen mountain for views across the city and surrounding area.

Balestrand
You'll head to Voss after breakfast to start one of the trip's highlights. The Bergen Railway climbs about 900 meters from Voss to Myrdal with fjord views the whole way. Then you board the Flåmsbana, one of the world's steepest train lines, winding through tunnels, past waterfalls, and through dramatic mountain terrain. Once you reach Flåm, you'll have free time before boarding a cruise on the Sognefjord that takes you to Balestrand.

After breakfast, you'll travel through mountains and valleys with connecting ferries moving you along the route. You'll stop at Borgund Church, a wooden church from around 1180. Later in the afternoon, you head toward Lake Tyrifjord and arrive in Oslo by evening.

Karlstad

After free time for lunch, you'll head toward Sweden and reach Karlstad, situated where the Klara River meets Lake Vänern.

You'll travel east to Stockholm after breakfast, arriving in Sweden's capital built across 14 islands between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. A guided panoramic tour shows you Gamla Stan's small squares and cobbled streets, plus the exteriors of the Royal Palace, Cathedral, and Parliament building.

This morning is free for you to wander Stockholm at your own pace. The city spreads across 14 islands and people often call it the Venice of the North. You might grab a Swedish fika (coffee break) by the canals or do some shopping before heading to Stockholm harbour in the afternoon to board an overnight cruise to Helsinki.

Tallinn
After breakfast on board, you'll arrive in Helsinki and enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of Finland's capital. You'll see Senate Square, Kauppatori market square, the 19th-century Tuomio Kirkko cathedral, the rock-carved Temppeliaukio Church, and the red brick neo-Byzantine Uspenski Cathedral. Late afternoon brings a 2-hour cruise to Tallinn.

The route covers Toompea Hill and the lower town, showing you the Orthodox Cathedral Alexander Nevsky, Toompea Castle (home of Estonian Parliament), Town Hall Square, the House of the Brotherhood of Blackheads, and St Olaf and Niguliste churches. After the tour, the rest of the day is yours to explore further.

You'll have the morning free in Tallinn to see more of the city. In the afternoon, a long-distance coach heads toward Riga with a short break in Pärnu, a beach town with early 20th-century buildings and a nice promenade where you can grab some local snacks before continuing into Latvia.

Riga
After breakfast, you'll spend 3 hours on a guided tour exploring Riga's UNESCO sites including the elegant Art Nouveau district and the medieval old town. You'll see Riga Castle, the 19th-century New Opera House, the Central Market (Europe's largest, built from former zeppelin hangars), the Powder Tower, Three Brothers, and the Dome Cathedral with one of Europe's finest organs. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own.

After breakfast, the coach heads toward Vilnius on a long-distance drive. Once you cross into Lithuania, you'll stop at the Hill of Crosses, a mysterious pilgrimage site with a complex history. In the afternoon, a 3-hour guided tour takes you through Vilnius's Old Town with its winding streets and courtyards, showing you the Cathedral and the exterior of Saint Anne's Church, one of Lithuania's Gothic masterpieces.
