Itinerary
- Day 1
Reykjavik
You'll arrive in Reykjavik and head to your hotel whenever you get there. That evening, meet the group at a welcome meeting and take an orientation walk through the city to get your bearings. The day wraps up with a welcome dinner followed by a soak in Sky Lagoon's geothermal hot springs, which is a nice way to settle in after your travels.

Landmarks Sky Lagoon - Day 2
Snafellsnes Peninsula
A private vehicle takes you out to Snafellsnes Peninsula, the same dramatic landscape that inspired Jules Verne's 'Journey to the Center of the Earth.' You'll stop in small fishing towns including Kirkjufell, Ólafsvik, Djúpalónssandur, Arnarstapi, and check out Vatnshellir. After returning to Reykjavik in the late afternoon, you have the evening free to do as you like.

Seljalandsfoss and Gljufrafoss Waterfalls
Head south from Hella into Iceland's countryside for your first real hiking day. Grab lunch somewhere along the way, then walk to Gljúfrabui waterfall before tackling Seljalandsfoss, where you can actually hike behind the falls into a small cave. It's one of those places where the water just pours down around you. You'll be back at your accommodation for a welcome dinner.

Gjáin Valley and Secret Lagoon
Gjáin Valley is where you'll spend the day exploring volcanic landscapes and geothermal features. Hike out to a waterfall in the valley, then head to Hjalparfoss where two rivers meet. After lunch in Flúðir, settle into the Secret Lagoon's natural hot springs before heading back to your hotel for a free evening to relax.

Skógafoss Waterfall and Lava Centre
This morning takes you to Skógafoss, one of Iceland's most impressive waterfalls and featured in Thor and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. You'll learn about Iceland's volcanic history at the spot where two continental plates meet. Later, grab lunch and visit the Lava Centre to dig deeper into the country's geology. You're back at the hotel by evening.

Golden Circle Route
The Golden Circle route includes stops at Gullfoss Falls and Geysir, where hot springs shoot water high into the air. You'll visit a geothermal bakery where bread bakes underground using Iceland's natural heat. After that, hike to Oxararfoss waterfall in Thingvellir National Park before returning to your hotel with the evening free.

Langjökull Glacier
Langj kull, Iceland's second-largest glacier, is your destination. A specially modified glacier vehicle drives you up the snowy slopes and into man-made ice tunnels carved into the glacier's heart. Your local guide explains what you're seeing throughout. You'll grab lunch afterward, then have the rest of the day free to unwind or take an optional local hike if you're up for it.

Landmarks Langjökull Glacier - Day 8
Húsafell
You'll explore Húsafell on foot and pick between a moderate or challenging hike. The moderate route goes through a canyon with interesting rock formations and sculptures by local artist Páll Guðmundsson. The challenging option follows an old traveler's trail through Iceland's interior along natural water springs. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you like at the hotel.

Vidgelmir Cave and Reykjavik
Vidgelmir Cave takes you underground to see the magical world created by volcanic activity. You'll walk through impressive lava tunnels with unique geological formations and vibrant colors that have been sealed away in darkness. Drive back to Reykjavik for free time to explore on your own, then gather for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant in the evening.
