Day 1
Hanoi to Ninh Binh
This morning you'll get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter early, then it's a 110 km drive south to Ninh Binh. Once there, you'll check out Hoa Lu's ancient temples that used to honor emperors when this area was Vietnam's capital. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon involves a 1.5-hour sampan boat trip through Tam Coc's three caves, where you're surrounded by limestone cliffs and rice paddies on both sides. Before heading back to Hanoi for the evening, you'll trek up Mua Cave to Ngoa Long Mountain for views out over the valley from up there.

Heard a lot about Vietnam but this is the first time I’ve been here. Found Ideal Travel Asia on the internet and some itineraries of my interest. I did feel a bit nervous booking directly but to me, you are great tour operator. I was shown to the best place of Vietnam where I felt in love with the beauty and tranquility of the landscape. All the rising lands in the sea, the turquoise water (not really clean though ) , mouth watering culinary and friendly people make you wish for a longr trip. I think I would come back here one more time, with Ideal Travel Asia of course. Thank your for everything.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Ideal Travel Asia. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
