Marrakech to Dades Gorges
Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains heading toward Kasbah Ait-Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its distinctive clay architecture and use as a film location. From there, you'll continue to Ouarzazate and then travel along the Road of Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Dades Valley with stops at Skoura Oases and small Berber villages before reaching Dades Gorges for the night.

Dades Gorges to Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, head to Tinghir to see the Jewish quarter and cemetery, then move on to Todgha Gorges where you'll walk through the 300-meter canyon. The route continues through Arfoud, known for its dates and fossils, and you'll arrive in Merzouga Desert at sunset. You'll switch to camel for a 1 hour 30 minute ride to your camp with photo stops along the way, followed by a hot shower, dinner, and traditional music performed around the fire.

Merzouga Desert
Start your day watching the sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast before heading out on a 4x4 off-roading tour through the Sahara. You'll visit Merzouga Oases, spend time with a Nomadic Berber family in their tent, see the Gnawa Black people's village, and check out a fossil site with animal water fossils on volcanic rocks. A traditional lunch is included, and the afternoon is free to relax by the pool at your desert hotel.

Merzouga Desert to Fes
Travel back from the desert camp by camel or 4x4, then head toward Arfoud and Ziz Oases with a stop for panoramic views. You'll have lunch in Midelt before visiting Azrou Forest to see the Macaque Barbary Monkeys. Next comes a quick stop in Ifrane, nicknamed the Switzerland of Morocco, then you'll drive to Fes, one of the world's oldest medieval cities, where you'll spend the night.

A local guide will walk you through the Old Medina of Fes on a comprehensive city tour. You'll see local handicrafts, the famous tanneries, the historic Al-Quaraouine University, various Madrasas, and the busy local markets. The tour can be tailored based on what interests you most. In the evening, return to your traditional Riad in the heart of the Old City where you can spend time at your leisure and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
