- Day 1
Kilimanjaro to Arusha
Your guide picks you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drives you toward Arusha. The ride gives you a real feel for Tanzania, with the busy streets and local energy as you head inland. Once at your lodge, check in and settle in by the pool with a cold drink while you take everything in.

Tarangire National Park
Head into Tarangire National Park with your private guide for the day. The park's known for huge elephant herds and those massive baobab trees scattered across the landscape. You'll drive around the Tarangire River where wildlife congregates, and if you're interested, there's an option to stop at a local Maasai community to learn about their culture.

Serengeti National Park
Spend two days crossing the Serengeti's endless plains. You'll see the Great Migration and all the big cats and grazers that come with it, lions and leopards and cheetahs alongside zebras and wildebeests and giraffes. The nights happen in luxury safari tents, and you'll pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands on the route between locations.

Ngorongoro Crater
Explore the Ngorongoro Crater, this massive 20 by 20 kilometer basin that holds up to 25,000 large animals at any given time. You can spot all five of the Big Five here, including black rhinos that are harder to find elsewhere. Check out Olduvai Gorge and its significance in human history, and consider walking along the crater rim or visiting a Maasai community if you want to.

Ngorongoro Area
Spend the day at your resort with time to relax completely. There's an infinity pool with views, and the staff can arrange romantic experiences like a candlelit dinner out in the bush. If you want to do something, you could drive to Empekai Crater with a picnic or attend a traditional Maasai wedding ceremony.

Fly to Zanzibar and move into beach mode. Your resort sits right on white sand surrounded by palms, and from here you can swim, order cocktails, and eat fresh seafood at the restaurants. Watch the traditional wooden dhows with local fishermen working the water, and catch the sunset over the Indian Ocean later in the evening.

Departure
