- Day 1
Arrival at Arusha
You'll arrive in Tanzania and meet your guide who'll be with you for the next several days. After getting settled at your accommodation, you'll have views of both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru from the property. Spend the rest of the day getting comfortable at the lodge, whether that means relaxing by the pool or wandering around the grounds to get your bearings.

Arusha to Lake Natron
Today involves traveling through Tanzania's varied terrain, moving from green landscapes to drier areas as you head toward Lake Natron. You'll pass through Maasai villages along the way, getting glimpses of local life. Once you reach the lake with its distinctive pink color and flamingos, you'll check into your glamping tents and can relax by the pool overlooking Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano.

Lake Natron to Lake Manyara
An early start gets you to Lake Natron for a hike where you'll see thousands of flamingos in the pink waters. Your guide will explain what makes this lake's ecosystem so unique and special. Afterward, you'll leave for Lake Manyara, and by afternoon you're settled into glamping tents where you'll stay for the next three nights.

Lake Manyara
This day is yours to shape. You can spend it by the pool in the natural setting, or pick from optional activities available. A nearby Maasai village visit lets you learn about local traditions and how people live day to day. Alternatively, you could do a safari in Lake Manyara National Park to search for the Big Five.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro
An early jeep departure takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater, a volcanic caldera that formed 3 million years ago. You'll descend into the crater for a safari through one of Africa's most biodiverse regions. Keep your eyes open for giraffes, elephants, lions, buffalo, and rare white rhinos gathering around waterholes where hippos congregate.

Arusha to Zanzibar
You'll fly from Arusha to Zanzibar and settle into your beachfront place. This evening, grab a cold drink and watch the sunset from the sand as you leave the safari behind.

Zanzibar
Walk through Stone Town's narrow streets at your own pace. The Darajani market has spices and local crafts if you want to browse, or you can relax in Forodhani Gardens instead. Spend your afternoon and evening on the beach, then stick around to see the sunset over the water.

Zanzibar Beach Day
You'll spend time on Zanzibar's white-sand beaches with turquoise water and palm trees swaying overhead. Structure the day however you like, whether that's reading, taking a beach walk, or swimming in the warm water. If you want something more active, optional snorkeling lets you explore colorful coral and fish. End the day watching the sunset paint the sky.

Landmarks/POIs Zanzibar Beaches - Day 9
Jozani Forest, Zanzibar
Head into Jozani Forest on Zanzibar's eastern side to walk through dense jungle on narrow paths. You'll encounter red colobus monkeys found nowhere else, with their distinctive red backs and fluffy white hair. After spending time observing these shy primates, head back to the beach to watch the sunset with your feet in the sand and sea.

Dhow Sailing and Mangrove Bay, Zanzibar
Set sail on a traditional dhow heading toward Zanzibar's southwest coast. You'll experience the thrill of sailing as dolphins jump alongside the boat. Later, the dhow anchors at a sandbank where you can swim, snorkel, and have refreshments. From there, you'll continue to Mangrove Bay to float in natural pools surrounded by mangroves.

Your final day in paradise features flexible checkout, so you have time to enjoy the beach one last time before heading home. Swim, sunbathe, walk along the sand, and take in the ocean. Optional snorkeling is available if you want to explore more of the colorful underwater world during your last hours here.
