Itinerary
- Day 1
Marsa Alam to Luxor
Your hotel picks you up early from Marsa Alam, then it's a drive to Luxor for a full day of sightseeing. You'll start at Karnak Temple complex, where the massive sculptures and columns really show the scale of ancient construction. From there, head into the city center to see Luxor Temple, which sits right along the riverbank. After grabbing lunch at a local spot, you'll cross over to the West Bank. The Valley of the Kings is next, where you can walk through the tombs of pharaohs like King Tutankhamun. Before heading back, you'll stop at the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon to wrap up the day. Then comes the 4-hour drive back to Marsa Alam in the evening.
