Itinerary
- Day 1
Sphinx - Saqqara
Your guide picks you up from the hotel early to head out to the Giza Plateau. The day starts at the Great Pyramid of Cheops, then you'll check out the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus right nearby. After that, you make your way to the Sphinx and walk through the valley temple to understand how everything connects. There's a photo stop set up so you can get views of all the pyramids together from the right angle. Later in the afternoon, you'll have the chance to ride a camel across the Sahara, which gives you a different perspective on the landscape. From there, your guide takes you to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of King Djoser and some of the noble tombs scattered around the site. By evening, you'll head back to your hotel after a full day exploring these ancient sites.
