Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
You'll touch down at Cairo Airport where someone will be waiting with a name sign to collect you. From there it's a straight transfer to your hotel so you can settle in and get ready for what's ahead.

- Day 2
Cairo to Saqqara and Aswan
After breakfast you head out to the Giza Pyramids Complex to see the Khufu Pyramid, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Then it's on to Saqqara where you'll check out the Step Pyramid, the first one built for King Djoser. By late afternoon you make your way to the train station for an overnight train heading to Aswan.

- Day 3
Aswan
The train pulls into Aswan and a representative meets you at the station. You board a motorboat to visit Philae Temple and see the Aswan High Dam. After that you check into your Nile cruise, have lunch, and catch an evening Nubian party on board.

Abu Simbel and Kom Ombo
An early morning gets you to Abu Simbel where the rock-cut temples for King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari sit carved into the cliffs. You head back to the cruise for lunch, then the boat continues toward Kom Ombo. Before evening you walk through the Kom Ombo temple and sail on toward Edfu.

Edfu and Luxor
Starting after breakfast, you take a horse carriage with your guide to Edfu Temple, which is known for how well it's been kept. Then you relax on the deck while the cruise moves toward Luxor, passing through the Esna Lock along the way. Lunch happens on board and you'll have afternoon tea on the sundeck.

- Day 6
Luxor and Transfer to Hurghada
Before sunrise you're in a hot air balloon floating over Luxor's West Bank, looking down at temples and mountains below. After landing you walk through the Valley of the Kings, see the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, and photograph the Colossi of Memnon. Later you visit Karnak Temple with its massive pillars and obelisks. By afternoon a bus takes you to Hurghada where you check into your hotel.

Hurghada Snorkeling
You head out for a snorkeling trip to Dolphin House, one of the top dive spots around. After getting in the water to explore what's below, lunch gets served on the boat. Your representative brings you back to your Hurghada hotel when the day wraps up.

Return to Cairo
Following breakfast you transfer to the bus station to start heading back to Cairo. When you arrive your driver meets you and takes you to your Cairo hotel for the night.

Departure from Cairo
