Itinerary
- Day 1
Fes to Merzouga
Leave Fes early in the morning and drive through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing by Ifrane with its ski resort feel and Azrou where you'll see cedar wood crafts. You'll cross the Zad pass and reach Midelt for lunch. After that, continue southeast through Errachidia and into the Ziz valley with all its palm groves. The landscape changes as you head toward Erg Chebbi and its massive sand dunes. Roll into Merzouga by evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

- Day 2
Merzouga
Start the day with breakfast, then head out on a guided tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes. You'll visit Merzouga's second oasis, the wandering deposit area, and Khamlia village where you can meet the Abiid people. The morning also includes Mifiss and then a trip to Tissardmine oasis to meet nomadic communities on the desert plateau. In the afternoon, mount a camel for a 2-hour ride across the dunes to catch the sunset. Your ride takes you to a wild oasis about 2 hours' walk into the desert where you'll sleep in Berber tents with dinner served right at the camp.

Merzouga to Dades Gorges
Watch the sunrise over the dunes after breakfast, then head out toward Erfoud and Rissani to check out a fossilized marble factory. From there, move on to the palm oasis areas of Touroug and Tinjdad. Stop for lunch in Todra Gorge, and spend your afternoon traveling through the Dades gorges by way of Boumalne and Dades valley. You'll arrive at your hotel in the gorges by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

- Day 4
Dades Valley to Ouarzazate
After breakfast, head back into Dades Valley to visit the Kasbah of Ait Youl. Take an off-road route through the Roses Valley where you'll see traditional kasbahs and ksours (fortified towns) on your way to Kelaa M'gouna. Following lunch, continue to Skoura to see the Amredhyle Kasbah, then drive to Ouarzazate where you'll arrive by late evening for dinner and overnight.

Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Begin with breakfast, then spend your morning exploring Ouarzazate's main sights: the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas cinema studio. Next, drive to Ait Benhaddou, an ancient kasbah village and UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch, head toward Marrakech by way of the Tizi N'Tichka mountain pass. You'll arrive around 5:30 PM.
