Itinerary
- Day 1
Ulaanbaatar to Hustai National Park
You'll get picked up from your hotel and drive about 100km north to Hustai National Park, which takes roughly 2 hours. The park covers 50,620 hectares and is the main place in Mongolia where you can see the wild Takhi horses in their native habitat. Spend your day looking for these rare horses across the landscape, then you'll stay overnight at a ger camp where you can experience traditional accommodation and settle in after a full day of wildlife watching.

- Day 2
Mongol Nomadic Ger Camp Experience
Head out early for a 50km drive to a nomadic ger camp where you'll get hands-on experience with traditional Mongolian life. The day includes watching demonstrations of daily activities like dairy production, herding with ox, yak, camel and horses, milking animals, and traditional felt-making and tanning. You'll also see horsemanship shows and hear traditional music. After lunch at the camp, you'll make the 50km drive back to Ulaanbaatar and get dropped at your hotel by afternoon.
