Itinerary
- Day 1
Seoul
You'll meet your Adventure Leader at 14:30 for an initial briefing when you arrive in Seoul. After that, you're diving straight into a taekwondo class to pick up this traditional Korean martial art. Later in the evening, take the Namsan Cable Car up to Tower Observatory where you'll see the city lights spread out across Seoul's skyline. By the time you head back to your accommodation, you'll have gotten a real feel for the energy here.

Seoul
Start early and head to Gyeongbokgung Palace to catch the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at 10am, and if you're interested, you can dress up in traditional hanbok for photos. From there, wander through Bukchon Hanok Village with its narrow alleyways and traditional houses, then check out the craft shops and tea houses scattered through Insadong. Later you'll take in the Nanta show, which is this high-energy performance done without any dialogue. After that winds down, you'll have free time to walk around Myeongdong and grab dinner or do some shopping on your own.

Seoul
This day is yours to plan. You could take a trip out to Nami Island if you want something more relaxed, explore different neighborhoods around Seoul at your own pace, or head to Lotte World if theme parks appeal to you. Your Adventure Leader is on hand if you want suggestions based on what interests you most.

Seoul to Jeonju
This morning you'll board the high-speed KTX train heading to Jeonju. Once you arrive, make your way to Hanok Village where you'll jump into a hands-on kimchi-making class and learn how to prepare this essential Korean dish, then take your batch with you. The rest of the afternoon is free to walk around the village, check out the shops, grab food from the stalls, and try different cafes. When evening hits, you'll settle into your traditional hanok accommodation for an authentic Korean hospitality experience.

- Day 5
Jeonju to Gyeongju
You'll take an express bus to Gyeongju, drop your bags, and then join a walking tour through the city's ancient history. You'll see Chunmachong Ancient Tombs, wander through Daerungwon Tumuli Park, and visit Cheomseongdae, which is East Asia's oldest standing astronomical observatory. Later you'll stop at a 300-year-old hanok for traditional tea tasting, then have a classic Korean dinner. To finish the day, you'll head out to see Donggung Palace and Anapji Pond all lit up at night.

- Day 6
Gyeongju
You have a free morning to either visit UNESCO-listed Bulguksa Temple or take a stroll along the elegant Woljeonggyo Bridge with your Adventure Leader if you want. In the afternoon, a private shuttle takes you to Golgulsa Temple where you'll spend the night. You'll participate in the temple's daily routine which includes meditation, sunmudo (Korean martial arts), and communal work, then eat a traditional vegetarian Buddhist dinner. It's a quiet, reflective night in your temple room.

Gyeongju to Busan

When you arrive, you'll explore the colorful Gamcheon Culture Village with time to grab lunch there, then head to Songdo Beach to ride the marine cable car for those panoramic coastal views. Later you'll visit Jagalchi Fish Market and the lively BIFF Square, try the local hotteok snack, and check into your hotel. The evening is free to rest and adjust.

- Day 8
Busan
You'll visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of Korea's most scenic temples that sits dramatically on cliffs right above the sea. This afternoon, relax on Gwangalli Beach, walk the promenade, or spend time at nearby cafes and restaurants. If you're interested, there's an optional pottery-making class you can join. To wrap things up, you'll take a sightseeing boat tour around Busan Bay, and then the evening is free to explore the city on your own terms.
