Itinerary
- Day 1
Kuala Lumpur to Rompin
You'll travel about 4 hours from Kuala Lumpur to Rompin Rainforest Lodge, getting settled in during the morning and early afternoon. After checking in, the afternoon is spent at the Rainforest Discovery Centre where you can learn about local flora and fauna. From there, head to the 80-metre suspension bridge crossing Kinchin River, then climb the watch tower to see into the canopy. Dinner happens at the lodge, and later you'll take a guided night walk to catch nocturnal wildlife while the forest comes alive after dark.

- Day 2
Rompin
Start with breakfast, then board a 2-hour river cruise on Sungai Kinchin to spot rainforest wildlife. The boat takes you to Sungai Kernam where you'll swim in clear waters before returning to the resort for lunch. After eating, you'll trek for about 4 hours to Mahkota Waterfall, a 50-metre cascade split across 3 levels where you can swim in the natural pool. Along the way, watch for elephant footprints and giant umbrella palms in the vegetation.

Rompin to Kuala Lumpur
Have breakfast and check out, then transfer back to Kuala Lumpur. If you want more time in the region, there's an optional 1-hour drive to Mersing Jetty where day trips to Rawa Island or Tioman Island are available for an extra charge.
