- Elyssebeth· November 30th, 2024A marvelous way to be immersed in the life and culture and experience of being in Morocco. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were always there just as we needed help. The route is well planned, the stops (features and hotels and meals) were all well chosen.Show more
- Adam· April 26th, 2023In Fez we visited non of major Madresahs and didn't spend time to explore major attractions, instead our tour leader walked us to farther parts of souk and took us to visit 5 big shops the whole day for marketing to get his commission spending 1 hour in each of them! Virtually all our day was spent in those shops. It was a shopseeing tour instead of a sightseeing tour. This happened in all other places too. We practically didn't visit Meknes. Just a 3 minute stop. Some places (like Koutoubia mosque and others) were also omitted in Marrakech in expense of going to big shop for marketing.Show more
- Nicole· October 14th, 2022Brilliant tour, great value for money, the guides were great, very knowledgeable, and a good laugh. Lots of additional excursions we otherwise wouldn’t have got to see if travelling alone. Happy it was a small tour when we seen other larger tours at different sites. Good pace to see lots in a short space of time. Would happily recommend to anyoneShow more

Asked on August 31st, 2025Is it possible to upgrade the Sahara dessert camp night stay to luxury ? If so, how much the price would be ?
Encounters TravelOperator•Written September 2025We don't offer room and hotel upgrades on our group tours, no. On this trip, the desert night is spent in a large shared Berber tent, or you can take your mattress outside and sleep under the stars. Blankets are provided but we recommend that you bring a sleeping bag for the colder winter months from November to April. Shared western-style flushing toilets are available.
