Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
You'll get picked up early from your airport or hotel and head through Kenya's central highlands toward Aberdare National Park. The drive takes you past tea and coffee plantations, and there's a stop at Karatina's open-air market, which is the largest one in East Africa so you can walk around and see local goods. Once you reach the lodge, grab lunch and then spend the afternoon checking out the wildlife around the property. You'll have dinner and stay overnight at the lodge.

Aberdare National Park to The Ark Lodge
This morning starts early with a game drive through Aberdare National Park to spot wildlife, then you'll head back for breakfast at the lodge. After eating, you have some free time to relax and take a swim if you want. Lunch comes after that, and from there you transfer to The Ark Lodge. Once you arrive, you can watch animals from the observation deck as they come down to the water sources. Dinner and another night at the lodge.

Aberdare National Park to Nairobi
Wake up one last time to the African bush and have breakfast at the lodge. After checking out, the drive back to Nairobi takes you toward your hotel drop-off in the city, ending your time in the highlands.
