Kolkata
You'll land at Kolkata airport where a representative meets you and takes you to Hotel Tulip Inn. The afternoon is yours to either rest at the hotel or wander through the local market on your own.

Kolkata to Darjeeling
After breakfast, you head to Kolkata airport for your domestic flight to Bagdora. Your driver picks you up there and it's roughly a 3-hour drive to Darjeeling, where you'll check in at Hotel Sunflower.

Darjeeling
This is an early start. Your driver takes you to Tiger Hill before dawn so you can watch the sunrise over Kanchenjunga peak. From there you'll visit Ghoom Monastery to see the Maitreya Buddha statue. Following breakfast, a guide joins you for a city tour hitting the Himalayan Zoological Park, Gumbu Rock Site, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.

Darjeeling
There's nothing scheduled today, so you have full flexibility. Many visitors check out the famous tea plantations around Darjeeling or spend time in the gardens. If you'd rather stay put, the hotel is comfortable for relaxing.

Darjeeling to Gangtok
After breakfast, you check out and your driver takes you toward Gangtok, about 3 hours away. Once you arrive, hotel staff help you settle into Hotel WhiteConch Residency.

Gangtok
You and your guide cover several important sites after breakfast, including Tsuk la Khang, the Institute of Tibetology, Orchid Sanctuary, and Enchey Monastery. By afternoon the day opens up and you're free to do whatever interests you, whether that's more walking around or just relaxing.

No activities are planned. You can wander Gangtok at your own pace or stay at the hotel and take things easy. It's a good day to grab lunch at a local restaurant or simply explore neighborhoods on foot.

Gangtok to Kalimpong
Following a relaxed breakfast, you check out and drive to Kalimpong, roughly 4 hours from Gangtok. Your hosts greet you upon arrival and get you checked into Hotel Summit Gardens Retreat & Spa.

Kalimpong
After breakfast, your guide shows you around Kalimpong starting with Zong Do Palri Fo Brang monastery, which the Dalai Lama himself consecrated. You'll also visit Thongspa Gompa, Kalimpong's oldest monastery, and the Sericulture Institute. Later in the day you get free time to hit a local market or the botanical garden.

You have a relaxed breakfast and check out, then your driver takes you to Bagdora airport for your flight back to Kolkata, about 5 hours away. Upon landing, a representative meets you and settles you back at Hotel Tulip Inn. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you like.

Following a leisurely breakfast, your guide takes you on a city tour of Kolkata covering Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Indian Museum. Later, depending on when your flight departs, you'll check out of the hotel and get driven to the airport.
