Itinerary
- Day 1
Kraków
You'll arrive in Kraków and meet your Travel Director at a welcome dinner with wine at a local restaurant. After eating, take a walk around the Cloth Hall in Market Square where you can see the romantic gabled townhouses and Gothic spires surrounding the area. The Christmas Market has stalls selling traditional food, Highland woollen slippers, and Baltic amber jewellery that you can browse through the evening.

- Day 2
Kraków
Head up Wawel Hill with your Local Expert to see the Renaissance castle and the cathedral where Poland's kings are buried. From there, cross into Kazimierz and Old Podgórze to visit Ghetto Square and see what remains of the Ghetto Wall. The rest of your day is open, so you can explore on your own or head back to the Christmas Market in the Old Town's historic district to see the decorations and pick up gifts and treats.

- Day 3
Kraków - Wrocław
You'll visit Auschwitz before traveling to Wrocław, sometimes called the Venice of Poland because of its five rivers, 12 islands, and over 150 bridges. Once there, walk through Wrocław's Christmas Market in Rynek, the main historic square with Baroque buildings and thousands of lights. After that, you'll try making traditional gingerbread using local ingredients and Lower Silesia recipes, then spend time looking at crafts and food at the market stalls.

Wrocław - Prague
You'll leave Wrocław and cross the border into the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague. When you get there, start with a progressive Dine-Around dinner in Mala Strana where you'll move between local restaurants trying traditional Czech soup and goulash, finishing with festive Christmas market flavours and local specialties.

Then, at a local tavern, enjoy classic beef goulash with bread dumplings and wine. Afterwards, walk on the Charles Bridge and explore the Christmas market in Kampa, where mulled wine and a Czech festive treat await.)

- Day 5
Prague
Prague offers choices with Insight Choice - either walk through Prague Castle's courtyards and visit St. Vitus Cathedral, or join your Local Expert through the Jewish Quarter to learn about Jewish history, traditions, and legends. Later, head to Old Town Square to see the Christmas Market under a giant tree with wooden stalls. You'll meet a local vendor and try traditional mulled wine with Trdelník pastry.

- Day 6
Prague - Dresden
Cross into Germany to reach Dresden and see the Frauenkirche, which was rebuilt after wartime destruction. Your Local Expert will guide you past the 'Procession of the Dukes' mosaic, the cathedral, Semper Opera House, and Zwinger Palace. During free time, look for Christstollen, a Christmas cake with medieval roots, or find traditional Christmas pyramids. Later you'll travel on to Berlin.

With your Local Expert, you'll see the Brandenburg Gate, State Opera House, pieces of the Berlin Wall, Unter den Linden, and the restored Reichstag building. Next, experience the Weihnachtszauber at Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin's main square for Christmas celebrations. In the evening, join your group for a festive Celebration Dinner with wine at a local restaurant.
