Historical sites of Sigiriya and Anuradhapura to the nature-filled experiences in Yala National Park and Nuwara Eliya, there was never a dull moment. Sigiriya history and the ancient ruins at Polonnaruwa were also fascinating. However, the long travel times between destinations felt a bit excessive, and I would’ve liked to have spent more time at some of the stops, especially in places like Nuwara Eliya and Kandy.Show more
- Jan· September 30th, 2025We covers so many beautiful spots in Sri Lanka beaches of Kosgoda to the cultural gems of Sigiriya, it was an enriching experience. However, the travel times between cities could be a bit tiring. You spend a lot of time on the road, so if you’re someone who values downtime, you might want to reconsider. That said, the local guides were excellent, and the wildlife experiences were worth every minute.Show more
