- BarryOConnor· September 10th, 2019We completed the Switzerland by Rail tour followed by the river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest. The land based tour requires a lot of walking. There are no transfers from the station to the hotel, with two exceptions, one transfer is by ferry and the other by bus because the hotel is 10 km out of town. All other transfers from 500 mt up to 900 mt are on foot. For the land based tour you need to carry everything with you for the day as your luggage goes by separate courier to the next hotel. There are certain excursions on the land based tour that will be a challenge for older people, or those with health issues. APT do not disclose the risks associated with these prior to selling you the tour. River cruising first class. Consider the additional cost of a balcony room, as during the second week of the cruise, the ships are moored two and three abreast and your balcony is only 1 mt away from the ship next door.Show more

Asked on June 21st, 2024I keep finding tours I want to take but they are not available in my region how can I find a trip that will start in Paris and end in Prague that is available to me? I would really like to travel on the Travel Marvel cruise ships but I'm not sure how to do that.

Would you be flexible on your starting/ending point of the cruise? We are unable to find other Itineraries that start from Paris and ends in Prague.
