Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
You'll start from Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains, where elevations reach over 2000 meters with views of the surrounding terrain. The route follows the historic caravan path through Ounila Valley, where you stop at Kasbah Telouet and then Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. From there, it's on to Ouarzazate to see the film studios before heading to Gorge Boumalne Dades for the evening, where dinner happens at a local guesthouse.

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
After breakfast, you'll travel through the Tinghir region, famous for its silver craftsmanship and agricultural work. You get to see the underground irrigation systems, an old method for distributing water through the area. A traditional lunch comes along the way, and then you'll head out for a camel ride into the desert to catch the sunset. The day ends with dinner at your desert camp under the stars.

Merzouga to Fes
Leaving Merzouga behind, you head toward Fes through the Middle Atlas Mountains. A stop at the largest cedar forest in North Africa gives you a chance to stretch and take in the landscape. You'll have a leisurely lunch somewhere along the route, then continue to your riad, arriving in the late evening. Dinner is a traditional Moroccan meal at your accommodation.

Fes
You're getting breakfast before your local guide takes you into the medina's winding streets and narrow passages. The day includes the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, Bou Inania Madrasa, and Nejjarine Madrasa, plus a visit to a southern fortress for views across the medina. Local crafts like mosaics and leather goods come into focus, and you'll walk through the Chouara Tanneries. After a traditional lunch within the medina walls, you head back to your riad for dinner and rest.

Following breakfast, you depart Fes for the Roman ruins of Volubilis to explore what remains of this ancient Berber community. Lunch happens at a restaurant along the way, and later in the afternoon, you arrive at Chefchaouen, where everything's painted in shades of blue. You check in and then walk through the blue streets to take in the scenery as evening settles in.

After an early breakfast, you travel through green groves toward Rabat, Morocco's capital city. You'll see Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Lunch comes at a scenic spot, and by early evening, you arrive in Casablanca, Morocco's largest city. Your driver takes you to your hotel, where you can rest and settle in for the night.

From there, you head back to Marrakech, the Red City, for a traditional lunch. Your driver then takes you to your riad or the airport, depending on what you've arranged.
