Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca
You'll arrive in Casablanca and have the rest of the day to settle into your accommodation at your own pace. If you have energy after travel, the Hobous district offers interesting local shops and galleries to wander through. The Beach Promenade is a nice walk with ocean views, or you can head to Mohamed V Square and its gardens if you prefer something more central with cafes and activity nearby.

- Day 2
Rabat - Chefchaouen
Your private transfer heads north toward Chefchaouen and stops first in Rabat. You'll see the Roman and Islamic ruins at Chellah Necropolis, then move through the Kasbah des Oudaias and the Andalusian Gardens. Hassan Tower gets added to your Rabat stop before you continue into the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen's blue-painted medina, souks, and Grand Mosque fill the afternoon, and you'll end at Ras el Ma Spring with river cafes and sunset views from the water.

- Day 3
Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
A 4.5-hour private transfer takes you south from Chefchaouen to Fes with stops along the way. Volubilis shows off Morocco's best Roman ruins with temples, homes, and preserved mosaics. Then you'll pass through Meknes' relaxed medina before reaching Fes. The Marinid Tombs give you panoramic views of the old city's layout, and you'll have time to walk the medina's lanes before dinner at your riad.

- Day 4
Merzouga
An early start means an 8-hour private transfer southeast through the Atlas Mountains toward Merzouga and Erg Chebbi. You'll pass cedar forests and watch for Barbary monkeys around Col du Zad Pass at 7,146 feet/2,178 m. Lunch stops in Midelt, then you continue through Tizi n'Talrhemt Pass into the Ziz Valley with its oases. By afternoon you see sand dune waves appearing. After arriving at your Bedouin-style tent camp, a camel ride crosses the dunes to catch sunset, then return for dinner and live Berber music by the fire under stars.

Early risers can catch the desert sunrise, then spend the morning in Khamleya village experiencing traditional Saharan music and drumming while seeing local farming plots. Your 4.5-hour private transfer heads northwest toward Boumalne Dades with cultural stops through desert plains and high mountains. You'll see Tinghir's 30-mile/48 km river oasis with palm villages and explore the Jewish quarter at Elhaj Ait Ali. Todra Gorge at 984 feet/300 m offers walks or cool water time before you settle into your Dades River valley accommodation.

Marrakech
The 5.5-hour drive to Marrakech passes through rose fields in El Kelaa M'gouna, where you'll stop at a women's cooperative to see rose water and oil production. After that, you head through Ouarzazate and visit Ait Benhaddou, the UNESCO-listed ksar castle used in Lawrence of Arabia and other films. The scenic Atlas Mountain drive continues with a stop at Taddert's olive oil cooperative for tasting. You'll arrive in Marrakech by evening with the city's red walls and energy greeting you.

Marrakech
Marrakech's center pulls you through Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque and Gardens first. Then Jemaa el Fna Square gets your attention with its markets, street performers, and food stalls. The souks nearby let you browse spices and traditional slippers. Majorelle Gardens offers escape with its colorful buildings and tropical plants, plus the bright blue YSL Museum villa. For your evening, choose either a private food tour tasting ten traditional dishes from sweets to tagines, or relax at a hammam with steam, scrubs, massage, and mint tea.
