Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Dades Valley
Start from Marrakech and head up into the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2260 meters. Along the way, you'll stop at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village that sits on an old caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech (it's also been used as a film location). From there, drive through the Valley of Thousand Kasbahs and settle into the Dades Valley for the night.

Dades Valley to Merzouga
After breakfast, spend about four hours driving to Merzouga with stops along the way. You'll check out the Todra oasis in Tinghir and walk through Todra Gorge, then pass through Erfoud and Rissani. Once in Merzouga, you'll ride a camel for an hour across the Erg Chebbi Dunes, timed so you're out there as the sun sets. Later, you'll head to a Bedouin camp where you'll spend the night.

Merzouga
This day is yours to spend as you like in Merzouga. You can relax by the pool or try whatever desert activities interest you. If you want to add something extra, there are quad biking and buggy rides available for an additional cost. Return to your hotel by evening for dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Merzouga Desert - Day 4
Merzouga to Marrakech
Grab breakfast in Merzouga and start the journey back to Marrakech, which takes about 9 hours total. You'll stop in Ouarzazate for lunch and a break, then drive through the Atlas Mountains back toward Marrakech. You should arrive back around 19:00, wrapping up the trip.
