Itinerary
- Day 1
London to Dublin
You'll check in at London Euston Station and board the 09:02 train heading through England toward North Wales. The journey takes 3 hours and 40 minutes, passing through countryside and coastal scenery before reaching Holyhead. Once there, a bus takes you to the Irish Ferries Ulysses, a cruise ferry where you'll spend the next 3 hours and 15 minutes crossing the Irish Sea. The ship has restaurants, bars, a cinema, and deck space to walk around. You arrive in Dublin at 17:25 and head to your city centre hotel to settle in for the night.

The buses offer either live commentary or multilingual options, with drivers approved by Failte Ireland who can tell you about the city's history and neighborhoods. You can hop off whenever something catches your interest and reboard the next bus, so the pace is entirely up to you.

- Day 3
Dublin to Belfast via Causeway Coastal Route
After breakfast, head to Connolly Station for the 06:50 train to Belfast, arriving at 09:08. From Belfast Central Station, a coach takes you along the Causeway Coastal Route through the Antrim Coast. You'll see the Harland and Wolfe Cranes in Belfast, stop at Carnlough fishing village, pass through small coastal towns with mountain and Scottish views, and photograph Dunluce Castle. The main stop is the Giant's Causeway UNESCO site where you'll spend about 2 hours exploring the hexagonal basalt columns before the coach returns you to Belfast for the evening.

Belfast
Have an Ulster Fry breakfast whenever you're ready, then use your remaining 48-hour hop-on hop-off ticket to see more of Belfast. Spend time shopping and wandering different districts and neighborhoods at your own pace. When you're ready to leave, catch any scheduled train back to Dublin that works for your timing.

Dublin to London
After breakfast, get to Dublin ferry port for your 08:05 departure. The cruise ferry reaches Holyhead at 11:30, giving you time before boarding a train at 12:38. Monday through Saturday services go direct to London Euston, arriving at 16:38. On Sundays the train changes at Crewe, arriving at London Euston at 16:44. Either way, you're back in London by late afternoon.
