Itinerary

Day 1
Delhi to Agra
Your driver picks you up from your Delhi hotel at 9:00 AM and heads toward Agra. Once you arrive and check in, grab lunch at a local restaurant to settle in. The afternoon takes you to Itmad-ud-Daulah first, where you can see the intricate marble work and detailed inlay patterns. After that, head over to Agra Fort to walk through its imposing structures and history. Later, make your way to Mehtab Bagh positioned across the river for sunset, giving you views of the Taj Mahal from a different angle. Before dinner, browse through the marble inlay workshops and wander the markets to pick up souvenirs. You'll spend the night in Agra.

Day 2
Agra to Fatehpur Sikri to Delhi
Start early in the morning to catch the sunrise at the Taj Mahal while the light is soft and the crowds are smaller. Spend time there as the day begins and the monument shifts with the changing light. Head back to your hotel afterward to freshen up and have breakfast at a more relaxed pace. Rest during the mid-morning hours, then check out. Next, your driver takes you about 37 kilometers to Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar and now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through the palaces, courtyards, and structures that show the city's historical significance. After exploring, your driver either takes you back to your Delhi hotel or drops you at IGI Airport depending on what works for you.

What a fantastic day out! Was a very early start, however it was well worth getting to the Taj for the magical colours at sunrise, not much of a crowd and easy enough to find your own space for those shots. Our guide was great fun and had all the information and history you could need. I highly recommend this

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Alkof Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
